Will an air duct cleaning improve my allergies?
Yes! There are many things living in your ducts that attribute to allergy problems. Having your ducts cleaned removes not only common household allergens, but also any microorganisms residing in your duct work. Duct Cleaning also helps remove mold spores.
Will a duct cleaning cause damage to my duct work?
At ARK Clean Air LLC we clean your ducts the right way. We don't use large brushes, but rather forced air and "skipper" nozzles to agitate and clean your ducts. And, since we go to EACH vent in your house, we visually inspect your ducts as we go and let you know if we see anything abnormal.
How often should I get my air ducts cleaned?
National Air Duct Cleaners Association recommends having your air ducts cleaned every 5 to 7 years depending on the type of air ducts you have and how efficient your HVAC Unit is.
Will this help my HVAC Unit run more efficiently?
Having your ducts cleaned is just as healthy for you, as it is your Unit. Anything sitting in your ducts gets pulled through your system, lands on your evaporative coil and pushes back through your home. This can cause strain on your unit making it run less efficiently and cause costly repairs!
